1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to HBD ("we," "our," or "us"), accessible via hbd.yourara.com. By creating a birthday page, sending a wish or gift, or otherwise accessing the service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use HBD.

2. The HBD Service

HBD allows celebrants to generate personalized birthday links to share across social media (e.g., Instagram, WhatsApp, X). Friends and well-wishers can send birthday messages anonymously or with their names, and optionally attach monetary treats and gift funds to celebrate the user.

3. User Conduct & Anonymous Messages

We prioritize fun, safe, and positive celebrations. While HBD supports anonymous messaging to let friends share genuine birthday hype, the platform strictly prohibits:

• Cyberbullying, harassment, hate speech, threats, or defamation.
• Impersonation of others or sending non-consensual sexual content.
• Spam, automated bots, phishing, or scam messages.
• Exploiting the platform for unauthorized commercial solicitations.

Celebrants can hide or delete unwanted wishes from their dashboard at any time. Violations of community standards may result in immediate suspension and blacklisting of IP addresses or accounts.

4. Gifts, Payments & Payouts

When a well-wisher sends monetary treats or gifts:

• Payment Processing: Transactions are handled by licensed, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (including Flutterwave). HBD does not store sensitive card or bank login credentials on our servers.
• Direct Payouts: Celebrants receive gift funds deposited directly to their registered bank details or verified payout methods, minus standard payment processing and platform handling fees.
• No Refunds on Birthday Treats: All sent gift amounts are treated as non-refundable voluntary contributions made in honor of the celebrant, except where required by applicable consumer law.

5. Account Registration & Link Claiming

You agree to provide accurate information when claiming your username and birthday. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign inactive usernames or usernames that infringe on trademarks or intellectual property.

6. Limitation of Liability

HBD is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for user-generated content, downtime, or network failures caused by third-party hosting or payment providers.
